"I must admit, when it comes to computers and the internet I am totally illiterate. Even the language confuses me. I wanted someone who could take my money, let me write up a few things and take some pictures, hand it all over to them and they would do the rest, including proper upkeep. When it came time to register (it is required you fill out and send in forms yourself) I couldn't even get that right. I had one problem after another and they stretched out their arm, took my hand and led me all the way through it, line by line! They was always very professional and extremely helpful, making suggestions as well as finding a way to make what I wanted, happen. My website is now up and running and I'm extremely pleased with the response I'm getting from it - and not just hits - I bring in money and when you're down at the bottom line, that is what really counts! "When Brenda & I decided we were overdue for a website (encouraged by many more than our customers), I figured, no big deal, I'll build one or have one built. I struggled with several programs (no need to name them, the problem is me), so quickly calculated it is time for a professional (I'm sharp that way). I sent out 'feelers' without a lot of luck, then in a flash of brilliance (my whole reserve for one year), I thought about Raffaele Bufo, our forum Guru. When I first contacted him my initial request for a 'Top of the line, Professional layout, with the 'Picky S.O.B.' factor included, his response was "no problem...you'll have it! :)". "Yea, we'll see" I thought, even though I had seen many other nice sites developed by Raf (I mean I AM PICKY). That was on January 4, 2000. Eleven day's later I can only tell you that throughout this project, we were continuously holding him up for provided information (I'm sure he'll verify that one), or Raf would have finished this site much sooner! Over the first two days, we e-mailed/exchanged thoughts, and I wanted something classic. He sent me images that convinced me he is "The Man", However this was only the start. His motivation to create an outstanding presentation put an unexpected task on me, which was to keep feeding his need for input. His level of standard and quality of work is in my opinion, beyond reproach. Now, I have tried very hard to avoid sounding like a commercial for him (or me), but these words keep ringing as true in my conscience, so there, I said it. Brenda and I, I'm sure would have pushed most anyone else over the edge with our revisions and 'one more's, some of them so hindsighted it was embarrassing.
